If we do not get sufficient bookings on a workshop, or if a Guest Potter is unwell, we may have to cancel a course. In this unlikely event we would aim to let students know with at least two weeks notice*.

We would suggest booking accommodation which would allow you to cancel with the same notice period.

*Please note that a two-week notice period may not always be possible if a guest potter is unwell or cancels due to unforeseen circumstances.

All pieces will be weighed, and any firing charges will be applied. Please note that we do not offer a glazing service.

We charge a standard administration rate of £20 to post out any work on top of the firing charges (this covers packaging and staff time to prepare the pieces).

The student will also be required to cover the full cost of postage from The Ceramic Studio to their chosen address. We will be able to give you an estimation of cost once the pieces have been packaged and the parcel has been weighed.

We use DHL Express to ship pieces and follow their postage prices.

The Ceramic Studio will package each piece as carefully as possible, but we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused during shipping.

If you wish to organise postage of pieces following a workshop please contact the office team at: info@theceramicstudio.co.uk
