Family Taster Sessions

Our family taster sessions are a chance to enjoy creative bonding time together in a relaxed studio environment. Designed for all skill levels and ideal for families with children aged 5 and above, it’s the perfect experience to share something new.

WHAT TO EXPECT

What’s Included

Our Family Taster Sessions are 3 hours long. There are a maximum of 10 people in a class, with at least 2 experienced teachers taking care of the group. They run on two Saturdays a month from 1pm - 4pm.

  • Take a guided look around the studio and get introduced to a range of handbuilding techniques to begin your pottery experience

  • Shape and create your own mug or bowl using handbuilding methods, adding your own details and personality.

  • Have a go on the pottery wheel and experience the joy of throwing clay for the first time.

  • Choose three of your favourite creations to be glazed and fired.

  • All clay, glazes, and tools are provided, so you can simply come along and enjoy the process

  • Cost - £85 adults 18+ (per person) / £50 children (per person)

  • Just arrive a few minutes early to get settled – then relax and enjoy!

  • Ideal for families with children aged 5+

  • Finished pieces are ready in around a month – we’ll contact you when they’re ready to collect. Unfortunately, due to such a high demand for taster sessions, we can only keep finished work for two months.

  • Yes, you can change the date as long as it is more than five working days before the event, subject to availability.

    Unfortunately we will not be able to offer you a refund or an alternative session without adequate notice as we will not be able to fill your space.

  • Yes, we will send an email to the address provided 10-12 days before. This will give you all the information you will need to know. Do add us to your contacts and check your junk mail folder if you don’t receive the email.
