Our family taster session is a really fun way to try out pottery. See available dates below. All family taster sessions run from 1pm until 3.30pm.
You will use hand building techniques like pinch pots and coiling to learn how to make mugs or bowls and then for the second half, experience the exciting thrill of the wheel! Anyone aged 5 & over is welcome to join. Please note all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Class length - 2.5 hours
Cost - £75 adults 18+ (per person) / £45 children (per person). *Please note that refreshments, tools and materials are all included in the cost.
Method taught - Handbuilding, Wheel Throwing
Experience required - None
Maximum class size - 12
Note: At the end of the session you will be able to choose pieces to keep. These will be fired and can be picked up at a later stage. Please note this can take up to a month to be ready for collection. We will get in touch once your work is ready.
