This three-day course explores how glazes are built and why they behave as they do. Starting with the simplest possible glaze systems, each stage of testing builds on the last, with fired results analysed as the course progresses to create a continuous line of investigation. The aim is not simply to develop glazes, but to develop a more rounded understanding of ceramic materials, opening the door to independent and experimental ways of working.

2027 Guest Potter Workshops Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the full course price is required to secure your place on any Guest Potter Workshop.

If you cancel with at least five or more weeks notice from the course start date, a full refund will be issued minus the 20% deposit. Alternatively the full amount paid can be transferred to an alternative Guest Potter Course.

If you cancel with less than five weeks notice but with more than two weeks notice we cannot offer any refund but can transfer the value of the course (minus the deposit) to a future booking.

If you cancel with less than two weeks notice no refund will be given and a transfer of funds will not be possible.
